"Harness The Horizon"The motto of House Tsubaki, hailing from a long line of Raen Sharlayan's known for their mastery over Aetheryte travel. Over the generations, their influence has been found in many innovations concerning the construction and maitenance of Aetheryte crystals, and they ever look to improve themselves with each generation.After the 7th Umbral Calamity, House Tsubaki earn a large profit from the various Ul'dahn commissions for Aetheryte construction and repair. Tsubaki Manor grew tenfold in size, and became a staple figure upon the Southern Sharlayan coastline.Currently managed jointly by Takahiro Tsubaki and Zhonya Angora Tsubaki. The current heir, Izumi Tsubaki, has been traveling abroad, and has not been seen for several years upon Sharlayan shores.

Torakichi Tsubaki

A great Sharlayan scholar once claimed that there "Was a Thin Line Between Genius and Insanity", and many would claim Archon Torakichi Tsubaki would be the first upon a list of examples.Leading in his field regarding crystal purification methods, the Raen was often also known for his extreme absent-minded nature, and almost total indifference to subjects beyond his interest. Regardless, it is often agreed that such drawbacks were acceptable in the shadow of his accomplishments.Even the death of his wife, Hana Tsubaki, did little to stop his research - Though some would claim that was simply due to Zhonya Angora Tsubaki picking up where she left off.

As his eyes began to fail him,Torakichi Tsubaki declared them "unnecessary" and worked with peers to remove them and develop a new method of aethersight by which he could continue his work.

Hana Tsubaki

Often touted as "Archon Torakichi's Common Sense", Hana Tsubaki was often the face of House Tsubaki during her time, publicly speaking on behalf of their interests and hosting many social gatherings to garner influence. Her knowledge in Aetherosonography, the manipulation of aether via sound, was respectable, and she often input her ideas into her husband's work.She passed suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 59, during a laboratory explosion. The cause of the incident remains unknown.

Zhonya Angora Tsubaki

Zhonya Angora has become an everpresent addition to House Tsubaki for three generations, but few know much about the otherwise elusive viera. Neighbors would speak nothing but praise about the brief interactions, and guests are treated like family.The woman's skills seem to be endless, and her mastery over mammeteering is one of few well documented aspects of Tsubaki Manor caretaker.Her original origins are shrouded in mystery, and reasons for joining House Tsubaki at Torakichi's side are equally unknown.

"Zhonya? Ah! Yes! Wonderful woman, that Zhonya! [Chuckles] Reminds me of my other assistant... this viera woman, always so helpf- Oh, that's her? Well then, my statement still stands!"

After the disappearance of Hana Tsubaki, Zhonya took over many administrative duties of Tsubaki Manor's business dealings, until Takahiro Tsubaki came of age.

Takahiro Tsubaki

Takahiro Tsuabki, current head of the House Tsubaki, has lead his family into greater prosperity through a level of business acumen and political influence his father cared little for. After a failed attempt to earn a seat in The Forum, Takahiro expanded his family's research and developmental influence in Aetherytes, investing in locales like the Arkhitekton to great return following the Umbral Calamity that destroyed most all of Aldenard's Aetheryte system.In addition to his knowledge concerning the development of Aetherytes, he is also a notable investor in white auracite trade, having himself developed several aetherial storage devices using the material.Following the loss of his wife and son, Takahiro was reported to have grown increasingly reserved from the public eye, with additional unconfirmed reports of family troubles between him and his foster daughter, Izumi Tsubaki.

Tatsumi Tsubaki

Reciving her Archons' mark in Aetherohorticuturalism, the Tsubaki Manor Garden's, and all that grow within it was the passion project of Tatsumi Tsubaki, wife of Takahiro Tsubaki. The salikawood tree towering over the manor greenhouse is a local tourist attraction, though few have the pleasure of an up close experience.Often missing within the Tsubaki household, due to long expeditions afar to recover new and exotic flora for her collection, her presence would be forever missed after The Eudaimonia, a ship often traveled upon during her expeditions, never returned from abroad.
